Into the Wild: Trips & Retreats
Abraham, David, Jacob, Jesus… They all went into the wilderness to get alone with God and hear his voice. Scripture records just about every major figure in our faith’s history has taken the time to do this! The Gospels record that Jesus regularly got alone with God to pray. That’s why we are committed to a little wilderness time ourselves!
Late May or Early June
At Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp in Maberly, ON. Collide is all about connecting with each other and with God. Youth groups from across Ontario gather each year to worship, play some crazy games, hear the Word, and grow together. Past activities have included human foosball, midnight slip-n-slide, mud-pit tug-of-war, tubing on the lake, and blended Happy Meals. This is one packed weekend you don’t want to miss!
Zion Hill Youth Camp
Late July or Early August
At Zion Hill Camp in Forester’s Falls, ON. We spend a solid week in cabins, running around, playing the garbage can game, worshiping with our friends, going swimming, kayaking, mountain biking, and there’s usually at least one unicycle around, too.

Held at Kingswood University in Sussex, NB. Encounter is a great opportunity to travel 15 hours with people you love to a rural, but lively college, worship, play, and enjoy the presence of God and his people all in the lovely climate of Eastern Canada just before it gets really cold. Oh yeah, and there’s a Polar Run…
